We are no longer responsible for book orders. 

As the parents, you can now order your child's/children's school books. This is for digital and hard copies of the grade level through Abeka. Please be sure to order all required material during June-July every year if the child is returning.

Requirements

A scheduled interviews with parents and students, Via Facetime, Google Duo or Zoom

 

Parents must have completed the application and supplementary forms below and above.

​

Immunization is current and filed in the office.

​

Paid for the required registration, school books are to be ordered by the parents. 

​

Standardized test scores from the previous education facility (LEAP, etc).

​

Students are not admitted until registration fees are in the office with the registration forms.

​

Please note: Once fees/tuition are paid; No Refunds are given. Tuition can be paid in advance please, you will sign a binding agreement in acknowledgment of this policy.

​

Returning Students: A completed re-enrollment application form and registration fee to be paid by May 21st of the current year. Letter of intent completed in April to hold a place.

​

Behavioral and academic requirements are re-evaluated and a letter of acceptance will be sent.

​

Tuition is to be paid in full by June 15th or the 1st payments will be due by July 1st and divided by 10 payments. August 1st payment will end on May 1st. The school year closes in May and the records are completed/ closed. Please, make sure all payments are paid

​

At HCA we are no longer accepting New Students in the after the beginning and second semester of the school year. All students must be registered by the appropriate time frame given by our administration team/board members. They will be placed on appointed wait lists for the next school year please schedule an interview to be considered.

Waiting list: will only exist if classes are full.

​

Once a student is registered and classes begin, a student will be officially withdrawn until the parents have completed what withdrawal from and the students are cleared through office. If a student is registered and classes have not started, parents are to completed the withdrawal form-no fees will be refunded

School Policy

Attendance Policy

​

Attendance is a mandate for all Louisiana students. The State of Louisiana has a compulsory School Attendance Law, Revised Statue 17-2020; which states that all students between the ages of 5-151/2 years of age must be enrolled and attend school during regular school hours or participate in a home school inclusive of the public and private. We must comply with the law stated.

Pre-arranged Absences

Will be granted approval on non-approval by the administrator. Two week notice in writing from parents to file in folder. Work given to students. We do encourage you to preview the calendar/newsletters and arrange personal affairs accordingly.

Tardiness is 9:00 a.m.

​

Three unexcused tardies are absence. No more than ten absences per year.

Excused absences

 

Dr's appointments with proper documentation

​

Death in the family bring in the obituary

​

Unavoidable crisis w/proper documentation

​

Makeup work will be given with excused absences

​

Notes from parents will be acknowledged but may constitute an excused absence. However, long-term illnesses will be handled by the administrator.

Checking Out

​

Persons checking out students must report to the office for the proper verification and release forms. Student information cards must have the names of the adults to whom they can release. Check out prior to 1:00 pm. Students must sign out and proper forms for excuses are needed.
