About Us
Harvest Christian Academy is a non-public/ private non- denominational Christian Elementary School. Our school offers high academic standards to the families in the Slidell and surrounding areas. The vision became a reality in December 2003. The major purpose of the school is to give a solid academic foundation of learning for the average to the above average child along with Christian training. In addition, making them economically viable adults. Harvest Christian Academy is a limited liability company in the state of Louisiana for the sole basis of Christian Education. Also, an extension of "A Time to Harvest Ministries" INC.
Goals and Objectives: We at Harvest Christian Academy has taken into consideration that educating the whole child in Scriptural foundations is an attainable goal.

It gives us great pleasure in welcoming you to the family of Harvest Christian Academy and Highschool. I hope you enjoy your time here at our institution of higher learning. We have put in many long hours in order to give our students the best place academically enhance themselves. I hope you take the time to the first scan through the handbook and later go back and read the information of yourself. Remember it takes your spiritual support and financial support to make this possible. Continue to pray for us and we so graciously thank you again. Parents Role

We, Mr. and Mrs. Becknel, to thank you for choosing our school to educate your children. However, we do want you to know that we do have the best interest in your children while they are in our care. We take advantage of teachable moments we provide educational field trips. We want you to be positively involved and keep us in your prayers because the mandate that God has placed in our care is to give children a place to grow and develop spiritually, mentally and physically. Certain judgments and decisions we make will always be carefully considered; please trust our decisions. God will always be in the plan whenever we make any decisions for Harvest Christian Academy and High school. We will always make you aware. We want a professional atmosphere- please treat it as such. Please note that the Abeka curriculum requires constant study time on the students part so plan a time where and when the students can study without any distractions.
